Cross+A can solve many Sudoku variants: 9x9, 12x12, 16x16, Killer, Samurai, Flower, Sohei, Butterfly, Sensei, DoubleDoku, Gattai-3, Sudoku-X, Jigsaw, Greater Than, Consecutive Sudoku, Even-Odd, Wordoku, Sukaku, Kropki Sudoku. The program also contains the generator for Sudoku-X, Asterisk Sudoku, Center Dot, Windoku, Sudoku-DG, Jigsaw, Greater Than, Even-Odd, Anti-Knight Sudoku, Anti Diagonal Sudoku. Cross+A also can solve two variations of Sudoku with triangular cells: Hoshi (the puzzle was taken from the magazines of the Russian publishing house "Krot") and Tridoku (invented by Japheth Light, USA).
The main purpose of Cross+A is to simplify the solution of crosswords and other word-based puzzles. But with the course of time, the support of Nonogram, Sudoku, Kakuro, Hitori and other logic puzzles was added; such puzzles are extremely popular in Russia.
